Lessons

Hockley Hills School of Horsemanship offers lessons in English for riders over the age of 7. Hour long lessons run year round and are available at flexible times to suit your busy schedule. Parents and friends can watch comfortably from a heated viewing room while enjoying fresh hot coffee. Lessons are offered to riders of all levels of ability and are structured to meet your area of interest. A large part of riding is the horse/rider partnership, working with the horse on ground is just as important as the riding, you develop body language skills and safety of yourself and the animal.  Students are partnered with a horse that is best suited for them and through small group lessons they will build upon their knowledge and be challenged to bring their riding to the next level. This can range from the basic skills needed for recreational riding, to obtaining different levels of certification, to preparing you for the show ring.
